This well-maintained site offers "information, resources, and communication opportunities on the Internet for persons with mental retardation and other disabilities, for their families, and for those that provide them services and support." Its Library includes many disability-related topics, including a good article on sensory integration.
- American Association on Mental Retardation. AAMR's website includes a list of books on different aspects of intellectual disabilities.
- Wide Smiles. An excellent cleft lip and palate resource. This site offers "support, inspiration, information and networking for families everywhere who may be dealing with the challenges associated with clefting." There are many useful resources and links, including a helpful section on feeding a child with this disability.
- Center for Effective Collaboration and Practice. This site is especially written for teachers dealing with children with problomatic behaviors but is also helpful for parents and others. Among the many topics discussed are functional behavior assessment, the need to isolate the problem behavior, and behavior intervention plans.
- Sensory Integration Resource Center. A comprehensive list of links to many sensory integration sites.

- Pub Med offers an extensive searchable database of published journal articles in the field of Medicine. A useful Help section accompanies this highly sophisticated search engine. As well, the site features abstracts for many of the articles it references.
- Human Genome Project Information. Find out about the international effort to identify and catalogue all the estimated 80,000 human genes. This project has important ramifications for all genetic diseases, inlcuding Kabuki syndrome.

- LD OnLine: The Interactive Guide to Learning Disabilities for Parents, Teachers and Children. This informative and fun site comes complete with a Kid Zone; a Bulletin Board for parents, teachers and students; an Ask the Expert forum; and First Person--"personal essays on first-hand experiences with the challenges of learning disabilities." The site also includes includes informative articles on how to make the most of the IEP (Individualized Education Program) process.
- The Council for Exceptional Children. This site features information on special education. It is especially geared toward teachers.
- Wrightslaw. Anyone who deals with IDEA, IEPs, FAPE, NCLB, and Special Education would benifit from this site. Parents, advocates, educators, and attorneys come to Wrightslaw for accurate, up-to-date information about special education law and advocacy for children with disabilities.
