ne of the most important functions of KSN is to bring families together. Membership in KSN is a great way to meet other KS families, either online or in person. Membership gets you the following:
- The Kabuki Journal newsletter twice per year
- The Kabuki Journal contains personal stories from families, a wonderful way to get aquainted with other families with similiar experiences! You will also find information articles on genetics, journal articles, education, and any other number of topics we wish to explore together.
- The Family Directory once per year (if you have chosen to be a part of this listing)
- The Family Directory is a listing of families, including their contact information, some of the major health issues faced by their child, and any therapies, treatments, etc their child may be involved with. Due to high mailing costs, and to keep membership fees at a minimum, it is now only available via email. To be included in the Family Directory you must be a member of KSN. We would like to make the distinction, however, that by becoming a KSN member, you are not automatically included in the Family Directory. If it's your wish to be included in this listing, you will need to complete the online form or mail the printable version.
- Periodic updates from KSN on latest happenings
- Periodic updates could include information on upcoming local family get-togethers, Kabuki research projects or any other information received by KSN that may be of immediate interest to families.
The cost of membership is $20 (Canadian or US funds). The fee is very low because it is intended only to defray the mailing costs that are incurred with the newsletter.
Becoming a member of KSN is easy. Just go to the online form page, print it, and send it in with your membership fee OR email Margot and let her know you wish to pay via PayPal.
Remember, you will still have to fill out the additional information required if you want to be included in the Family Directory on this other form.
